Second (I'm good with titles aren't I?)

So I'm back in Chambana after a nice month long break.



And these first few nights have been rather uneventful... I have spent countless hours messing around with my guitar the last few days, and I actually found myself able to play through quite a few full songs with a minimal amount of mistakes (In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3, A Favor House Atlantic, Faint of Hearts, Neverender, and a few more that have slipped my mind). I was so proud of myself that I've actually started to mess around with a few solos (Coheed of course... haha), I didn't think I was good enough before to even try. Those are slow going though, I've been using guitar pro and looping the parts over and over again at 40% speed, until I have the part completely memorzied. I'll try and put some videos up on youtube once I get a working webcam again, my last one stopped working after a month in storage...

Other than that, life has been pretty average. There's this girl named Amy that I've been dating, and that's been going pretty good, I'm trying to think of something really nice to do for her for Valentine's day, but I'm not so good at that, haha. But I'll keep you guys (whoever the two people that viewed my profile since my last post were... haha) updated if I come up with something good, or if anyone has any suggestions those are very welcome too.

First

I live a pretty average life, that's why i honestly believe no one will find anything of interest to read in a blog about my life.

Random facts:

I got to the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana. I'm a freshman, and I'm majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

I have been playing guitar for about six months now. My family insists that they think I'm good, but I beg to differ, I'm okay at best.

My five favorite bands include: Coheed and Cambria, Journey, REO Speedwagon, Shinedown, and The Spill Canvas.

I'm in love with my two golden retrievers, Maya and Shelby.

I have very low confidence... (more on that a later time...)
